Demand for US equity options will grow due to changing market conditions and better education, a Burton-Taylor International Consulting report said.

European investors have increased their US equity holdings by over 50% during the last five years and greater demand for options products is expected, according to a report.

The latest research by Burton-Taylor International Consulting, a subsidiary of TP ICAP, found that European investors account for approximately 9% of all US exchange-listed equity option order flow, a figure which has remained stable since the previous report in 2013.
