Index Industry League Tables Reference 2019
(Leaders by Total Index Revenue 2018, Global Leaders By Index Type 2018, Regional Leaders By Index Type 2018)
This Burton-Taylor reference provides proprietary League Table rankings to enable market participants to easily measure and quantify the leading firms serving the Index industry. It quantifies total index revenue and five separate index types that are served by the companies defined and measured in B-T Index industry benchmark report. Index Types measured include:
- Traditional Equity, Fixed Income, Factor/Smart Beta, ESG and Other
Companies measured include:
- Bloomberg, Center for Research in Security Prices (CRSP), FTSE Russell, GKD Index Partners, LLC (d/b/a Alerian), Intercontinental Exchange, Morningstar, MSCI, Nasdaq, S&P Dow Jones Indices, SIX, Solactive, STOXX, as well as a selection of key smaller or regional players.
For total index revenue and within each index segment, the companies are ranked by revenue generated by the group on the global level, regional level and five-year Compound Annual Growth Rate (CAGR) and presented in separate league tables. Only companies tracked by B-T are included, consequently select product groups may be populated by fewer than 10 companies.
This report also presents key findings, total index type revenue and growth rates for each defined segment. It is meant to serve as an industry reference.
